The hearty meal is a savoury dish with fabolous filling of cheese, spinach, onion and spongy noodles. The speedy dish is perfect, if you have lesser time to cook something and desire to discover a new taste. Also, you can add mushroom, if you like and swap spinach for blanched broccoli as well.


The recipe of chicken and spinach pasta is given as follows.

Ingredients

    • 8 oz uncooked Rigatoni
    • 1 tbsp olive Oil
    • 1 cup chopped Onion
    • 1 pack defrost frozen Spinach
    • 3 cup cubed, cooked Chicken breasts
    • 1 can Italian-style diced and undrained Tomatoes
    • 1 container Philadelphia chive & onion cream Cheese
    • ½ tsp Salt
    • ½ tsp Pepper
    • 1½ cup shredded mozzarella Cheese

How to make Chicken and Spinach Pasta Bake

Step 1: Firstly, prepare rigatoni according to the package directions.
Step 2: Grease the baking dish with oil, then bake onion in a preheated oven until tender. Keep aside.
Step 3: Drain the chopped spinach by pressing between paper towels.
Step 4: In a bowl, stir in rigatoni, spinach, chicken, onion, tomato, cream cheese, salt and pepper well.
Step 5: Transfer the mixture into baking dish & sprinkle mozzarella cheese.
Step 6: Bake them covered in a preheated oven until bubbly.
