The insanely yummy dish is pretty good that your kids would definitely like. Get ready to thrive with the amazing experience of preparing Fish Skewers with Basil Chimichurri whose recipe is given as follows.


Serving: 4

Ingredients

    Marinade
    • 1/4 cup chopped white Onion
    • 1 minced Garlic clove
    • 1/4 cup vegetable Oil
    • 2 tbsp white wine Vinegar
    • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
    • Kosher Salt to taste
    • Ground black Pepper to taste
    • 10 ounces cut white Fish
    • 3 cut Zucchin   
    Basil Chimichurri
    • 1 1/4 cups chopped Basil leaves
    • 3/4 cup chopped Parsley leaves
    • 1 tbsp chopped sweet Onion
    • 1 minced Garlic clove
    • 1/3 cup olive Oil
    • 1 tbsp white wine Vinegar
    • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
    • Pinch crushed red pepper Flakes
    • Kosher Salt to taste
    • Ground black Pepper to taste
    • 8 cherry Tomatoes

How to make Fish Skewers With Basil Chimichurri

Step 1: For the marinade: In a bowl, add onions, garlic, oil, vinegar, lemon juice, salt and pepper, and mix together.
Step 2: Add in fish and squash and keep it aside to marinate for 15 minutes.
Step 3: For the chimichurri: In a processor, add basil, parsley, onions, garlic, olive oil, vinegar, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper.
Step 4: Process all the ingredients until get combined well.
Step 5: For the fish skewers: Thread the marinated fish and squash onto the soaked skewers and place 1 cherry tomato on the end of each skewer.
Step 6: Grill the skewers in a preheated grill and cook until lightly charred outside and fish is cooked.
Step 7: Drizzle basil chimichurri on warm fish and serve with basil chimichurri on the side.

  • 22 ounces frozen gefilte Fish (Loaf)
  • 1 sliced Onion
  • 2 minced Garlic cloves
How to make Baked Herbed Gefilte Fish

Step 1: In a bowl, mix olive oil, parsley, all spice, salt and onion well.

Step 2: In a baking pan, mix loaf, parsely, pepper and garlic well.

Step 3: Place the herb coated onions on the top of loaf.

Ingredients
  • ½ kg Fish (King Fish, Pomfrets or Lady Fish), Clean and Washed
  • ½ cup Onion Paste
  • ½ cup Tomato Paste
  • 1-2 tsp Garlic Paste
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 2 tsp Chili Powder
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 2 tbsp Lime Juice
  • Water as required
  • Few Coriander Leaves , Chopped
  • Oil for fry
  • Salt to taste

Step 1: Take a bowl, Mix turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon chili powder, coriander powder, salt, lime juice and water in to the mixture to make thin paste

Step 2: Cut the fish in to two slices and washed properly with warm water then apply thin paste over each slices from all the sides. Keep them aside for an hour
