Irresistable homemade Cheesy Potatoes would be best dish of potato that you have ever tasted. The creamy and cheesy hot potatoes are crispy and great substitute of ordinary baked potato. This dish is a great option for side dish as they go great with everything.


The recipe of cheesy potato is given as follows.

Serving: 5
Preparation Time: 20 mins
Cooking Time: 60 mins


Ingredients

    • 60g Butter
    • 1/4 cup plain Flour
    • 2 1/3 cups Milk
    • 2 cups grated Cheese
    • 1.2kg peeled and thinly sliced Sebago Potatoes


How to make Cheesy potatoes

Step 1: In a saucepan, melt butter, then add flour and cook while stirring constantly until bubbly.
Step 2: Remove from the heat, then gradually add milk while stirring constantly until well combined. 

Step 3: Again heat the sauce while stirring until boils.
Step 4: Stir in 1 1/2 cup of cheese, then remove from the heat and keep aside.
Step 5: In a baking dish, arrange one-third of potatoes, then sprinkle salt and pepper.
Step 6: Add one-third of the cheese sauce over potatoes.
Step 7: Again add one-third of potatoes, then sprinkle salt and pepper, and one-third of cheese and repeat the same process once more.
Step 8: Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup cheese, then bake it in the preheated oven until potatoes are tender and top is golden.
