If you want to make instant and light breakfast for your kids, here is the humble solution. Upma only needs white bread, onion and tomatoes as a main ingredients. Recipe as below:

Serving: 2-3 Person
Preparation Time: 10-15 Mins
Cooking Time: 15 Mins

Ingredients
  • 8-10 White Bread Slices
  • 1 small Onion, Thinely Chopped
  • 1 small Tomato, Seedless and Chopped
  • 1-2 Green Chili, Chopped
  • 1 pinch Asafoetida
  • 1/4 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Lime Juice
  • Few Curry Leaves, Washed
  • Oil for fry
  • Salt to taste
How to make Bread Upma

Step 1: Cut off the bread crust, break the bread slices into small pieces and make them aside

Step 2: Heat oil in a pan, drop asafoetida and mustard seeds, when it crackles add curry leaves onion, green chili and saute till softens
