Rice Pudding is a blend of rice with milk or cream and cinnamon. Raisins are the highlight that will make your rice pudding taste better. It is a simple yet filling dessert that will help you eat rice in an alternate way. And the good thing is you can serve it hot and cold as well, tastes equally good.

Cooking time: 35 mins
 
Ingredients
  • 2 1/2 cups Whole Milk
  • 1/3 cup short grain White Rice (uncooked)
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/4 cup dark brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon of Cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup Raisins
  • Pinch of Salt
How to make Rice Pudding

Step 1: In a saucepan, mix milk, rice and salt

Step 2: Cook them on high heat and bring to boil

Step 3: Reduce to heat and cook for 20 minutes, stir continuously

Step 4: Cook until the rice is tender
