The exotic salad, easy to made is simple combination of ear corns, onion, tomato, ninegae and seasoned with salt and pepper. The light, healthy, delicious and refreshing salad can be made in advance and fits perfect with your lunch or dinner. Also, in place of simple ear corns, you can use sweet white corn kernels as well that may enhance its taste more.

The recipe of fresh corn salad is given as follows.

  • 5 shucked ears of Corn
  • 1/2 cup diced red Onion
  • 3 tbsp cider Vinegar
  • 3 tbsp olive Oil
  • 1/2 tsp kosher Salt
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp ground black Pepper
  • 1/2 cup julienned Basil leaves
  • 1 chopped Tomato

How to make Fresh Corn Salad

Step 1: In boiling salted water, cook the corn until tender.
Step 2: Drain and immerse it in ice water, then cut the kernels off the cob.
Step 3: In a bowl, toss the kernels, red onions, vinegar, tomato, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Step 4: Toss in basil before serving.
