The lightened version of banana bread is rich and flavorful with all the spices that we add to masala chai. It can be stored for days in refrigerator. The sophisticated twist is moist and aromatic and goes well with your kids as well. Try out the recipe where warm Indian spices are infused in the bread whose recipe is given as follows.

Ingredients

    • 1 1/2 cups mashed ripe Bananas
    • 1/3 cup plain Yogurt
    • 5 tbsp melted and cooled Butter
    • 2 Eggs
    • 1/2 cup Sugar
    • 1/2 cup brown Sugar
    • 2 1/4 cup all purpose Flour
    • 3/4 tsp baking Soda
    • 1/2 tsp Salt
    • 3/4 tsp ground Cardamom
    • 1/2 tsp ground Cinnamon
    • 1/4 tsp ground Ginger
    • 1/4 tsp ground Allspice
    • 1 1/4 tsp pure Vanilla extract
    • 1/3 cup powdered Sugar
    • 1 1/2 tsp low fat Milk


How to make Chai Spiced Banana Bread

Step 1: Combine bananas, yogurt, butter, sugar and eggs with hand mixer until blended.
Step 2: In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda and salt until combined.
Step 3: Add above flour mixture to the banana mixture, then beat until blended.
Step 4: In an another bowl, combine the cardamom, cinnamon, ginger and allspice.
Step 5: Stir in 1 1/2 tsp above spice mixture and 1 tsp vanilla extract into the batter until just combined.
Step 6: Transfer the batter into the loaf pan and bake in a preheated oven until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Step 7: Cool the bread in a pan set on a wire rack and set out to cool completely.
Step 8: In a bowl, combine powdered sugar, remaining spice mixture and milk until fully to make the glaze.
Step 9: Spoon the glaze over bread and serve.

Ingredients

    • 10 cups popped Popcorn
    • 2 cups whole Almonds
    • 1 cup Sucanat
    • 1/2 cup coconut Oil
    • 1/4 cup maple Syrup
    • 2 tsp Vanilla
    • 1 tsp Almond extract
    • 1/2 tsp Baking soda


How to make Caramel Corn Clusters

Step 1: In a bowl, mix popcorn and almonds.
Step 2: In a saucepan, add sucanat, coconut oil and maple syrup, then stir the mixture until sucanat dissolves.
Step 3: Remove from the heat, then stir in vanilla, almond extract and baking soda.
Step 4: Pour the mixture over popcorn and almonds, and stir gently to coat.
Step 5: Transfer this mixture onto greased baking sheet and spread evenly.
Step 6: Bake the dish in a preheated oven for 1 hour, then cool and break into pieces.

The lasagna with mushroom, onion, Italian seasoning, wine, cheese, sauces and noodles is noticeable different version of lasagna. The solo supper is simply fabulous. Also, never cook the lasagna noodles before baking to prepare Quick Sausage and Mushroom Lasagna with a couple of twists. The recipe of it is given as follows.

Ingredients

    • 2 tbsp olive Oil
    • 2 cups sliced Mushrooms
    • 1 chopped Onion
    • 2 tbsp dried Italian seasoning
    • 1 pound casing removed hot Italian Sausage
    • 3 minced Garlic cloves
    • 1 cup dry red Wine
    • 4⅔ cups Marinara sauce
    • 9 oz no-cook lasagna Noodles
    • 15 oz container ricotta Cheese
    • 8 oz Italian cheese blend grated Cheese


How to make Quick Sausage and Mushroom Lasagna

Step 1: Heat oil in a pan and add mushrooms, onions and seasoning, then saute until the mushrooms and onions are soft.
Step 2: Add sausage and brown until cooked through, then add red wine and cook until almost all the liquid evaporates.
Step 3: Add marinara sauce and simmer until the sauce has thickened.
Step 4: In a casserole dish, spread ⅔ cup of the above sauce, then place the noodles.
Step 5: Again spread the sauce over noodles and then top with ⅓ cup of ricotta cheese and 1 cup of grated cheese.
Step 6: Repeat the same layering until all your noodles, sauce and cheeses are used up.
Step 7: Cover the lasagna with foil and bake it in preheated oven for 45 minutes.
Step 8: Later, remove the foil and again cook for another 10 minutes to brown the cheese.
Step 9: Take it out from the oven and keep aside for 15 minutes.

  • 1 piece Ciabatta
  • 8 slices provolone Cheese
  • 8 sliced Pepperoni

How to make Pepperoni & Cheese Stuffed Ciabatta Bread

Step 1: In a piece of ciabatta, cut a hole in the top and dig out the inside of the bread. 

Step 2: Stuff the bread with provolone cheese and sliced pepperoni.
Step 3: Press down each layer according to the denseness you want.
Step 4: Close the top with the piece of bread, then place a slice of cheese over the top of entire sandwich.
Step 5: Cover the sandwich with foil, then place in a pan and bake them in a preheated oven for 12 minutes.
Step 6: Once cooked, sliced the sandwich diagonally with a serrated knife.

  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Ginger Paste
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Paste
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Curd
  • Water as required ( to knead dough)
  • Oil for fry
  • Salt to taste
How to make Bajra Methi Na Dhebra

Step 1: Take a large bowl, mix fenugreek leaves, millet flour, gram flour, asafoetida, cumin seeds, red chilli powder, ginger paste, garlic paste, sugar, curd and salt as per your taste

Step 2: Make shallow well in bowl and pour 2 tablespoon of oil. Combined each ingredient well and knead a stiff dough using required water. Divide the dough in to equal sized balls

Ingredients
  • 8-10 White Bread Slices
  • 1 small Onion, Thinely Chopped
  • 1 small Tomato, Seedless and Chopped
  • 1-2 Green Chili, Chopped
  • 1 pinch Asafoetida
  • 1/4 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Lime Juice
  • Few Curry Leaves, Washed

Step 1: Cut off the bread crust, break the bread slices into small pieces and make them aside
