All the pizza lovers would definitely love this pizza as it has the array of colourful heirloom tomatoes, fresh basil and mozzarella cheese. And, when it is paired with green salad forms a satisfying meal for all. You must keep the dough to stand out at room temperature for some time even after rolling, otherwise it may shrink in between the process.


Prepare heirloom tomato pizza with recipe given here as follows.

Ingredients

    • 12 ounces refrigerated Pizza dough
    • 1 cup Basil leaves
    • 6 Garlic cloves
    • 3 tbsp extra-virgin olive Oil
    • 4 ounces sliced mozzarella Cheese
    • 2 sliced heirloom Tomatoes
    • 1/4 tsp ground black Pepper
    • 1/2 tsp Kosher Salt


How to make Heirloom Tomato Pizza

Step 1: Let the refrigerated pizza dough stand at room temperature for 30 minutes.
Step 2: In a food processor, add basil, garlic and oil, and then forms a fine paste.
Step 3: Roll the dough on a floured surface and pierce the entire surface with a fork.
Step 4: Transfer the rolled pizza over the pizza stone, which is preheated in the oven.
Step 5: Spread 2 1/2 tbsp basil mixture over the dough, then top with cheese, tomatoes, and pepper.
Step 6: Bake it in a preheated oven until crust is browned and crisp.
Step 7: Top 1 1/2 tbsp basil mixture, then sprinkle salt and cut into slices, and serve.
